Description
This tree has been in my front yard since I moved into the house in 1993. It has never really been affected by a storm, but this "phenomenon" of a storm on Friday, June 29, 2012 took half of it down. We were not home at the time, so I am not sure as to whether it was struck by lightning or just blown over, but it was an interesting surprise to come home to after being on vacation for a week. Luckily it did not fall into the drive way as it most likely would have hit a car!
